Hi there,
The AI revolution is coming. 🤖
Scrap that.
It’s already here.
It’s propelled the legal industry — which has been teetering on the edge of change — over the tipping point.
There’s no going back.
And while the robots aren’t coming for (all of) our jobs (yet 🤔 ), AI is changing expectations around legal services and how legal work gets done.
Here’s just one example.
This week at CLOC in Las Vegas, PERSUIT debuted our new AI-powered Proposal Analyzer.
The Proposal Analyzer uses large language model AI to quickly summarize and highlight the key strengths, weaknesses, and differences in competitive proposals from law firms.
Now, instead of in-house attorneys spending hours (and sometimes days) on manual reviews of multiple firms’ varied strategies, approaches, and pricing in response to an RFP, PERSUIT’s AI-driven Proposal Analyzer delivers the analysis and key insights in a matter of seconds.
To the uninitiated, it may seem unsettling to leave analysis like this to the “bots.”
But this is soon (or already is) how work will get done in legal (and everywhere else).
Lawyers have to adapt.
And legal leaders, it’s YOUR job to help them do it.
That begins by moving from a mindset of hoping and wondering…
“Will they use this technology tool” to…
“This is just how we do our job.”
Your team needs to build change muscle right now to successfully navigate this transition.
I fully recognize that convincing lawyers to do things differently isn’t an easy task.
The good news is that incorporating new technology tools into your in-house team — whether large language models like ChatGPT or a law firm engagement platform like PERSUIT — is an iterative process. The more you use the muscle, the stronger it gets, and the easier it becomes.
On the other hand, the longer you wait to start building this muscle, the harder it will be to stay competitive and deliver the results that your organization expects.
The imperative is clear.
We need to help our teams start doing the work necessary to adapt to the rapidly evolving changes in our industry.
But how?
The webinar on AI that is an absolute must for every in-house team.
OK — so maybe that heading is a little over the top. Then again, we've just had to upgrade our Zoom account (thanks to the 900+ of you who have already registered 😲 ), so something tells me it's one you might not want to miss.
I’m thrilled to share that Shannon Thyme Klinger, Chief Legal Officer at Moderna, will be joining me in a special webinar on Wednesday, May 24th to “chat” about ChatGPT, AI-powered innovations in legal, and their impact on in-house teams.
